fash•ion (fash-uh n) | topshop scarf

I am anxiously awaiting for the grand opening of TOPSHOP/TOPMAN this September. So as you can imagine, I was grinning ear to ear when these amazing gauze scarves were being handed out for free at Lollapalooza last weekend to promote the store's opening.

As a fashion/style blogger, I wasn't going to settle for wearing the scarf in it's traditional way.  So I decided to showcase just a few of my favorite ways to style this one.  Because it has such a unique print, this has quickly become my favorite new throw on accessory and I've been excited to show it off.

Although I wore it much like a boys scout would wear his sash, here are 2 more ways that I would have worn it (there are many more ways to tie it, but these happen to be my favorite):

Lastly, if you're like me and want to cover those un-washed hair days, here are a few ways to cover it up:

There are so many more ways to wear a scarf and I cannot wait to discover more with this one.  Nor can I wait 'til TOPSHOP/TOPMAN is open...only 4 more weeks!!!

Tabitha, that is so cute. I'm totes jealous of the scarf, but it suits your summery nautical aesthetic so well. :)

So cute! Awesome freebie, too! I can't wait for Topshop to open, either!!! We should all go shopping together there one day! I love the different ways you styled the scarf, by the way. My hair is too fine and thin for scarves to stay in, so I mostly wear them traditionally or as belts.

I love what you paired the scarf with - it is a nod to nautical but still young and fun. I'm personally terrible with scarves - plus BF has a thing against people wearing scarves when it is not cold out. Men and fashion!

That scarf is so adorable! I'm loving the Jackie O style to cover up the bad hair days :)

I'm so jealous you got a free Top Shop scarf and you have some mad styling skills too!

My favorite is the 'boy scout' way of tying the scarf and the way you tied it in a bow around your hair. :)

Also you have been a bloggin' fool lately, I have a backlog of your entries to read.
