We had such a crazy hectic week and weekend, but with so many little things that truly made it so enjoyable.

Celebrating my 32nd birthday and getting exactly what I wished for - a Lipault foldable luggage for our Eurocation....

Seeing my little peanut sit up in a restaurant high chair for the first time....

Watching Liam enjoy his swim class at the new Goldfish Swim school in Roscoe Village...

And getting a pair of TOMS shoes from Zulily.  Even if they're not for me baby shoes are the cutest!

So many small things brought smiles this week, such as...

Finding Liam's little buddies scattered around our bed right before we're going to bed...

Bringing out my hot pink blazer and pairing it with a cat dress I bought at Loft for $12...

Getting a free travel size Kleenex...

Getting a "Buy one, get one free" card at Starbucks the same day I received the free Kleenex...

Opening a Valentine's Day card from his buddy Sienna...

Having a much needed moms night out with a group of fantastic moms!

I loved this post from a few weeks ago.  So much that I decided to do it again (and maybe again...and again indefinitely).  Putting the post together made me realize that with every frustrating moment or feeling of defeat, there's at least one small thing that happened to me during the week that made things just a little bit better.  Things like...

Getting a picture in the middle of the day from Liam's play date...

Getting a good laugh at the butchered name on my Starbucks cup...

Justin Timberlake's new song (which is on back to back repeat)...

Having time to stock the fridge up of homemade baby food in cute little mason jars...

Successfully re-creating one of my favorite Sunda dishes (recipe going up this week)...

Busting out my Sorels for the snowy walk to work...

Taking Liam to the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum to see the butterflies...

Watching Liam's face as the butterflies flew freely...

Sporting my favorite owl sweater...

Watching Liam as he awes over the rotating colors on his Crane Hip-Hippo-Ray Belly Glo Night Light...
